A name or location entered in a search tool is transmitted directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results; we do not retain or log the entered search terms on our systems.

We retain an email message as needed to answer it. Messages remain within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive certain technical information when a page loads:

Our pages explain how to reach Bridgeport Police, Connecticut Superior Court, DESPP's State Police Bureau of Identification, and the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not turned into a consumer report or a record about another person.

Your Data Rights
Connecticut law may provide additional protections, including the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 42-515 through 42-526. Public records held by Bridgeport or state agencies are separately governed by the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen.
